Under normal use conditions, zinc-steel railings have an extremely low rust resistance, thanks to their unique material and processing techniques.
As the name suggests, zinc-steel railings are made primarily of zinc alloy. Zinc alloy itself possesses excellent corrosion resistance due to zinc’s position in the metal activity series. It forms a dense zinc oxide protective film on the metal surface, effectively isolating it from corrosive media such as air and moisture, thus slowing down or preventing the corrosion process.
In addition to the inherent properties of zinc alloy, zinc-steel railings undergo a series of anti-corrosion treatments during production, further enhancing their rust resistance. Powder coating is a common and effective method. Using high-pressure electrostatic spraying technology, plastic powder is evenly coated onto the railing surface, followed by high-temperature curing to form a strong, wear-resistant, and corrosion-resistant plastic coating. This coating is not only aesthetically pleasing but also effectively isolates the railing substrate from external environmental erosion, significantly extending the railing’s lifespan.
Furthermore, the design of zinc-steel railings fully considers rust prevention requirements. Its structure is rationally designed, with welded or fastened connections reducing gaps and dead angles, minimizing the accumulation of moisture and dirt, and thus reducing the possibility of rust. At the same time, the dimensions and wall thickness of the horizontal and vertical pipes of the railing are carefully designed to ensure sufficient strength and stability, further enhancing its rust and wind resistance.
Of course, no product can be absolutely rust-free. While zinc-steel railings have strong rust resistance, their performance may be affected under extreme environmental conditions, such as prolonged immersion in water or exposure to corrosive media like strong acids and alkalis. However, under normal usage conditions, such as in residential areas, villas, courtyards, factories, and schools, the rust resistance of zinc-steel railings is sufficiently reliable and can meet the needs of long-term use.
We currently have these products in our store. Our zinc-steel railings undergo special anti-corrosion treatment, have strong rust resistance, a stable structure, and an aesthetically pleasing design, suitable for various locations. Please contact us for more information.
